SEE IT. BE IT.

Representation matters.

WHEN YOUNG PEOPLE SEE AND HEAR FROM PEOPLE THEY CAN RELATE TO, IT CHANGES HOW THEY SEE THEMSELVES AND WHAT THEY BELIEVE IS POSSIBLE.

Our role models come from a wide range of backgrounds, industries and lived experiences across the Tees Valley and beyond. By sharing honest stories, real career journeys and practical insight, they help young people build confidence, challenge stereotypes and increase the visibility of different possibilities for their future.

This is especially important during a key stage of development, when young people are beginning to shape their sense of who they are, what they’re capable of and what they could become.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours or a full morning, there are a range of flexible opportunities to get involved throughout the academic year.

Every role model brings something different, but they all share a commitment to helping young people believe in themselves, broaden their horizons and see what’s possible.
