We don’t agree.

Power of Women is for everyone.
We work with girls and boys because creating a fairer future means everyone has a part to play. You can be an ally, a leader, a role model or simply be yourself, every voice matters.

You don’t have to fit a mould.
Be curious. Be confident. Be you.

Whatever your background, whatever your interests and wherever you’re starting from, you belong here.

At Power of Women, we help young people build confidence, discover what they’re capable of and see the opportunities ahead of them.

We’re here to help you find your voice, open doors and discover what’s possible.

WHAT POW CAN DO FOR YOU

We’ll show you what’s possible.

When you see someone who looks like you, sounds like you, or comes from a similar background doing something amazing, it changes how you see yourself.

That’s why our role models are such a big part of what we do.

They’re real women (and allies) from across the Tees Valley and beyond who share their honest stories, the good bits, the setbacks, the lessons and the wins.

Because success isn’t about being perfect. It’s about believing you can try.

Power of Women is a community interest company dedicated to building confidence, creating opportunities and unlocking potential for young people across the Tees Valley.

Spearheaded by the Late Professor Jane Turner OBE DL, this campaign embodies Jane’s determination and commitment to improving life chances of girls in the Tees Valley region. We want to give girls and young women of the region the inspiration, tools and support that they need to take control over the direction of their own lives, and to not just survive, but thrive.
